Joseph Mwebe

An accomplished public health specialist (2008–present), reverend, and clinician with over fifteen years of experience in managing healthcare initiatives and faith institutions. He holds a Master’s in Public Health from Uganda Christian University, multiple advanced health management certifications, and is a graduate in Theology and Leadership from International Leadership University.

He is the Deputy Overseer of Makerere Full Gospel Church (2024–date) and previously served as a Programing Specialist for the US Peace Corps (2016–2024), where he provided leadership in PEPFAR goals, national malaria strategy, clinical capacity building, and community engagement. Beyond ministry, Joseph is a decorated health manager from 2010 to date, having successfully designed and implemented nationwide community-led ART models with TASO Uganda, driving 90% patient retention and exceeding prevention targets. As a practicing monitoring and evaluation officer, he advises on project governance, compliance, health research ethics, and supports public health units with strategic frameworks.
