Securing the health of mothers and infants requires professionals who are willing to navigate washed-out dirt roads, overcome supply chain shortages, and earn the deep trust of isolated families.

Our community health interventions do not operate in a vacuum. They are anchored by a powerful, long-standing clinical partnership. Since 2013, our alliance with Buwenge Hospital has allowed us to bridge the gap between remote villages and expert medical care.
- Clinical Facilitation for High-Risk Pregnancies: When ELOI field officers identify an expectant mother facing severe health complications, we provide the direct funding and transport logistics required to get her to Buwenge Hospital. This ensures she receives specialized diagnostics and a safe, dignified delivery, preventing maternal mortality.
- Direct Nutritional Action: Alongside hospital care, our field teams deliver targeted prenatal vitamins, iron supplements, and fortified micro-nutrient kits to combat the chronic maternal malnutrition that leads to infant stunting.
