At ELOI Africa, we believe that every mother deserves the opportunity to give birth safely, with dignity, care, and hope. Over the years, one of the partnerships that has greatly strengthened this mission has been our collaboration with the Birthing Kit Foundation Australia.
Through this collaboration, we have been able to support health facilities with birthing kits and maternal health support that contribute toward safer deliveries and improved maternity care. These kits may seem simple, but they carry the power to save lives. They help reduce infections during childbirth and support health workers in providing safer delivery conditions for mothers and newborn babies.
Our partnership has impacted several health facilities including Buwenge General Hospital, Kira Health Centre IV, Kyosiima Maternity and Health Care Centre, and Good Samaritan Health Centre. Through these partnerships, mothers who would otherwise struggle to access basic maternal care materials have received support during one of the most important moments of their lives.
The collaboration has also encouraged conversations around maternal health, hygiene, and community support systems. Health workers in these facilities continue to dedicate themselves to serving mothers despite the many challenges health centres face, and we are grateful to stand alongside them in this work.
For us at ELOI Africa, this mission is deeply rooted in compassion, service, and humanity. Every mother reached, every safe delivery supported, and every newborn welcomed safely into the world reminds us why partnerships matter.
As we continue this journey, we hope to expand our reach and partner with more hospitals, maternity centres, and health care facilities across Uganda and beyond. The need is still great, but we are encouraged by the impact already made and by the good work God has enabled us to do within communities.
We remain committed to building partnerships that restore dignity, improve access to care, and strengthen communities one mother and one child at a time.
